WHO AM I?

After more than 10 years behind the camera, I have come to realize that I am a bit of a jack-of-all-trade. Rather than limiting myself to one niche within photography or videography, I enjoy exploring a wide range of creative opportunities. At the heart of it all, I simply love having a camera in my hands and capturing meaningful moments.

I thrive on visual storytelling, creative challenges, and finding unique ways to bring ideas and emotions to life. What began as a passion has grown into a career, but it has never felt like a job. When you genuinely love creating art and connecting with people, it rarely feels like work.

When you choose to work with me, my goal is simple: to create an experience that feels comfortable, memorable, and uplifting from start to finish. Whether we’re capturing milestones, telling a story, or simply preserving a moment in time, I will do everything I can to ensure you feel valued, relaxed, and excited about the final results.

Welcome, and thank you for stopping by.

My name is Trey Mathews, and I currently reside in North Carolina. After spending my entire life in Virginia, I recently made the move to be closer to my newfound family in Charlotte to support my growing family. It was a huge change, but one that has brought a lot of joy and new opportunities into my life.

My journey with photography and videography began in high school. I grew up during the early days of YouTube, when vlogging, video game playthroughs, montages, and comedy skits consumed most of my screen time. What started as a way to pass time quickly became a passion and ultimately led me to attend Eastern Mennonite University, where I pursued a degree in Digital Media.

On a more personal side note, I am a husband and father who believes life is best enjoyed with a good sense of humor. I work hard, but I also believe in finding reasons to laugh along the way.

When I am not behind the camera, you can usually find me working on my car, gaming on my PC, or spending quality time with my family watching movies or tv shows. These moments keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of preserving memories that matter most.
